Arran D. Stevens, EA
Arran has over 20 years of experience in public accounting and 3 years of experience as a Controller for a company in the Portland area. The public accounting experience was primarily tax services such as tax return preparation and compliance, tax planning and tax research. Arran also assisted in assurance services and provided one-on-one assistance with QuickBooks and other client accounting functions. As a Controller, a lot of time was dedicated to accounting analysis, compliance and problem solving. From years of experience, Arran understands what financial professionals are expecting for proper accounting and documentation.
Arran graduated from the University of Maine at Machias with a BS in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting. He enjoys traveling for sporting events, golf, mountain biking, a little hiking and homebrewing.
Mr. Stevens is also the Treasurer and co-founder of the Jay Michael Suddy Foundation that awards scholarships to graduating students at Shead High School in Eastport, Maine. Arran is originally from downeast Maine, growing up in Perry and currently residing in South Portland.
